Traveling to Spain

Our wedding will take place in the charming city of Sevilla, located in Andalusia, the southern part of Spain. Sevilla is known for its rich history, flamenco, tapas, and sunshine.

Sevilla has its own airport (SVQ), so you can technically fly all the way there. However, most guests traveling from the U.S. will find it easiest to fly into Madrid (MAD) or Barcelona (BCN) first. From Madrid, you can either take a short connecting flight to Sevilla (~1 hour) or take a high-speed (AVE) train, which runs frequently and takes ~2.5 hours from Madrid’s Atocha Station to Sevilla’s Santa Justa Station. We recommend taking the train, as it is comfortable and comes with a scenic ride.

Another option is to fly into the BCN airport and take a connecting flight to Sevilla (~1.5 hour) or take a high-speed train from Barcelona to Sevilla (although this journey is a bit longer - ~5.5 hours). We recommend this option only if you’re planning to spend time exploring Barcelona before heading south.

Where to Stay

We highly recommend staying in the old town of Sevilla, so you don’t have to worry about a car. Sevilla is a very walkable city, is easy to navigate, and we do not recommend that you keep a car in the city.

If possible, we recommend that you arrive on Friday, the night before the festivities commence.

Querencia de Sevilla

Querencia de Sevilla is located in the heart of downtown Sevilla. Upstairs, you’ll find a rooftop with a pool and panoramic views of the city. This is our first recommendation and where the welcome party will take place.
